Corey Dupree

Originally from Cambridge, Massachusetts, Corey Dupree moved to Pennsylvania upon being accepted to attend the Milton Hershey School where he was a student from 2005-2009. After attending MHS, he furthered his education at Penn State University and graduated with a B.A. in Humanities with a focus in Communications. He currently serves as a private consultant where he assists startups and organizations with their strategic development, event/project management, sustainability practices, and fundraising strategies.

He is the founder of the Layers of Black History event series which focuses on providing books and educational resources to all individuals. His organization has provided over 3,000 free books to organizations around the world since its inception in December 2021.

His passion for education is visible as he also serves as a substitute teacher in his spare time. A proud father of two, Corey’s passion to serve others, specifically the youth within underserved communities, stems from his personal upbringing as well as the impact from volunteering with grassroots organizations.
