About Us
Who We Are?
As a co-owner of a full-service event design and party rental company in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, I am proud to be part of a completely black-owned and operated business alongside my husband. We have made significant strides in running our company and are committed to continuing our growth in the region. However, we have encountered challenges in achieving our expansion goals, particularly in terms of accessing critical information such as grants, funding, and resources to support our upward trajectory. As a result, I have conducted research in the midstate area and discovered that there is a significant lack of easily accessible resources for black-owned businesses like ours. This realization has underscored the serious disparity that exists in our community. As an African Diaspora, living in the US is inherently challenging, let alone running a successful business. This experience has reinforced the importance of providing access to services for businesses and individuals of African descent in the Diaspora. We are committed to seeking out these resources and services to support the growth and success of our company and others like it.
Our Vision
Our vision is to create a world where Africans in the Diaspora are fully empowered and have equal opportunities to succeed, regardless of their background or circumstances.
